How to disable WordPress Admin bar

As of WordPress 3.0 there is a new admin bar that is visible from the front end that has become a bit annoying for some of us. There are several ways to get rid of this, the simplest one is on a user by user basis. Simply login as an administrator, then select users from the left in the WP-Admin area. Next select user of interest. Continue on to edit that user, in the users section.

You will see Show Admin Bar with a check box option that allows you to view the admin bar when viewing site (default) or show admin bar in the dashboard. The rest is self explanitory. Uncheck view when viewing site. That’s it. If this post has been helpful show some love by commenting below.
